But I Digress…, Episode 19 Teaser Trailer

Here’s a homespun “trailer” for my next vlog. I don’t normally do this, but it’s a review for a major event in fandom and I had a fun idea for a preview, so I made it. I even tried recording a voiceover for teh first time.

Featuring the music from the “Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor” teaser trailer music, composed by Murray Gold.

Special thanks to the Whovians and celebrities I met at Gen-Con 2012 and 2013, who you see in those photo montage. I hope none of you mind me using those pictures.

Digression 4: Valentine’s Day Karaoke – “Send Me an Angel” by The Megas

(Wondering where “Digression 3” is? Watch it here).

I may dislike Valentine’s Day, but it won’t stop me from doing a karaoke video to celebrate it! Not only to do you get to hear me sing (badly), I posted the lyrics so you can sing along.

I chose the cover of Real Life’s “Send Me an Angel” recorded by the Mega Man tribute band, The Megas. Why? First, it’s an ’80s song (I love that decade). Second, it was covered by The Megas, one of my favorite bands. Third, I’ve yet to hear a song that so perfectly expresses my own longing to one day find a special girl.

Digression 1: Today, We are Cancelling the Apocalypse!

The Mayans’ doomsday came…and nothing happened?! Big surprise, right? Here’s what I had to say about it.

This is the first of a series of “mini-videos” that I’ll be posting periodically as supplements to my main vlog, “But I Digress….” They may be follow-ups to the vlogs or completely unrelated. (Hence why they’re called “Digressions.”)
