As of Yesterday, Village Books in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is set to hold a book signing for me November 20 from noon to 2:00 p.m. If you miss the Hyde Brothers signing, this would be a great chance to make it to another signing in your area.

New book signing in Syracuse, IN; Hyde Bros. signing set
Today I made a few more phone calls, and I now have a new book signing scheduled for December 4 at the Syracuse Public Library in Syracuse, Indiana, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
I have also solidified my first Fort Wayne, Indiana, signing: Hyde Brothers Bookstore.
I am still talking with the Noble County Library System about a signing, and a date should be set very shortly.
With all these signings coming up, I should probably start an “Appearances” page on this website.
As it stands, here is my new book signing schedule:
November 6 – Summer’s Stories
November 12 – Hyde Brothers Bookstore
November 13 – North Webster Community Public Library
November 20 – Village Books (tentative)
December 4 – Syracuse Public Library
December 11 – Warsaw Community Public Library
December (TBA) – Noble County Public Libraries (tentative)
Another signing scheduled!
I just talked with a librarian at the Warsaw Community Public Library, and I have now set up a book signing for Pandora’s Box at their library. That signing will be held December 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in meeting room AB. I will likely due a short presentation and Q&A before signing books.
So now my book signing tour looks like this:
November 6 – Summer’s Stories
November 12 – Hyde Brothers Bookstore (tentative)
November 13 – North Webster Community Public Library
November 20 – Village Books (tentative)
December 11 – Warsaw Community Public Library
December (TBA) – Noble County Public Libraries (tentative)
Be there, or be square!
It’s official! Book signing will be held in North Webster
As of yesterday, my tentative book signing for Pandora’s Box at the North Webster Community Public Library is official. You can learn more about it on the book’s Facebook page. Here is the library’s website. You are welcome to come, especially if you live in the area.
More book signings scheduled
The last few days, I have been making stops at and calls to many libraries and bookstores in my area to ask them if they’d be interested in holding a book signing for me. I am excited to report that most of them have, at least, tentatively scheduled one for me. I have a regular book signing tour forming.
While details need to worked out with some of them, these tentative dates and locations are:
Friday, November 12, 6 p.m.-8 p.m. – Hyde Brothers Bookstore in Fort Wayne, Indiana
Saturday, November 20 – Village Books in Fort Wayne, Indiana
December (Date TBA) – Noble County Public Libraries in Noble County, Indiana
I am also in talks with the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, Indiana, about holding a signing.
So, as of now, my book signing “tour” tentatively looks like this:
November 6 – Summer’s Stories
November 12 – Hyde Brothers Bookstore
November 13 – North Webster Community Public Library
November 20 – Village Books
December (TBA) – Noble County Public Libraries
Once dates are set in stone, you’ll be sure to to hear about it, so keep checking for more updates.
First Book Signings Scheduled!
Today I talked Summer Moser, the owner and manager of Summer’s Stories in Kendallville, Indiana, and now have my first book signing for Pandora’s Box–and my first book signing ever–scheduled. It will held November 6 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Summer’s Stories is a small, independent bookstore nestled in old downtown Kendallville, a small town in my home county of Noble in northeastern Indiana. Summer is one of my friend Nick’s younger sisters. Two years ago when Nick held a signing for his second novel, The Echo of Dreams, at her store, she promised to have a signing for me there when I published my first novel. Now I’m taking her up on her offer.
You can learn more about Summer’s Stories on its Facebook page.
I also have a tentative date for another book signing on November 13 at the North Webster Community Public Library in North Webster, Indiana. More on that later.
Facebook Page for ‘Pandora’s Box’ Now Running
I started a Facebook page for Pandora’s Box yesterday. I am happy to report that over 40 people have “Liked” the book, and that include 8-10 who aren’t on my friends list! If you’re on Facebook, be sure to go to the page and lend your support (and help promote it) by “Liking” it.

‘Pandora’s Box’ Prologue Added
Can’t wait until October 31 to read my book? Well, now you can get a sneak peek! I have just posted the book’s prologue on Pandora’s Box page. Check it out!
‘PANDORA’S BOX’ COVER ART REVEALED!
After months of waiting, the moment has finally arrived–the unveiling of my first novel’s cover art! I spent much of last week corresponding with Mr. Hades, the editor at Absolute XPress, on the artwork. He passed all my comments onto the new cover artist, Tomislav Tikulin, and by the end of the week, we had THIS:
It was amazing and a bit surreal to see this gorgeous artwork with my name on it. I’m sure holding a copy of the book will be like an out-of-body experience, in that case.
I can’t thank you enough, Mr. Tikulin. This cover is amazing!
Be sure to check out the book’s page on this site for more info about it.
What do you all think of the cover, readers?
‘Pandora’s Box’ Cover Art by the End of the Week
Absolute XPress, which is publishing my novel, Pandora’s Box, sent me the rough sketch for the cover art Sunday. I looked it over and e-mailed them my comments. They responded a few hours later by telling me the comments would be passed on to the artist (who, sadly, isn’t Malcolm “I-have-the-coolest-name-ever” McClintock now), and the final version would be done by the end of the week.
I wish I could show you all the rough sketch, but I’m not allowed to. Sorry. You’ll have to wait for the final version.
I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am!
