Unfortunately, my novel, Pandora’s Box, did not make it into the top ten for the Alberta Readers’ Choice Award. However, Cinco de Mayo by Michael J. Martineck, which was published by Absolute XPress’ main imprint, Edge Science Fiction and Fantasy, did make it. He’s also, as far as I can tell, the only American author to make it through. Godspeed to him!

‘Pandora’s Box’ Cover Art by the End of the Week
Absolute XPress, which is publishing my novel, Pandora’s Box, sent me the rough sketch for the cover art Sunday. I looked it over and e-mailed them my comments. They responded a few hours later by telling me the comments would be passed on to the artist (who, sadly, isn’t Malcolm “I-have-the-coolest-name-ever” McClintock now), and the final version would be done by the end of the week.
I wish I could show you all the rough sketch, but I’m not allowed to. Sorry. You’ll have to wait for the final version.
I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am!
“Pandora’s Box” Release Date Announced!
I just received an e-mail from Absolute XPress, the publishing house putting out my book. They told me my first novel, Pandora’s Box, is slated to be released October 31!
That’s right–I’ll be published on Halloween. Maybe I should have a book signing while wearing a costume. That’d be hilarious. At least I won’t forget the day I published my first book.
